Commonly known as the Cottonwood Tree, it is a medium sized native tree with heart shaped, deep green to red foliage. Produces yellow flowers through Spring. Can grow to 8m high and 5m wide.

Features: Great feature tree for its red/green foliage. Yellow flowers stand out against the dark foliage. Bird attracting tree.

Uses: Very popular tree for use as a dense screen, large hedge or feature tree.

Requirements: Waterwise plant that will tolerate harsh conditions. Prefers full sun and well drained soil but will grow in most conditions.

Maintenance: Very hardy plant requiring minimal maintenance and water once established. Prune to shape and maintain dense growth.
